Congratulations to Dr. Sheldon Lawrence on his new position!

Dr. Sheldon Lawrence will be joining the faculty of Oxford College of Emory University in Oxford, GA as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Division of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Dr. Lawrence came to the Gordon Lab in January 2020 as a SPIRE postdoctoral fellow, and he has become a very skilled and experienced science educator in addition to being an accomplished researcher. Dr. Lawrence combines these two passions in his work in lab; he is currently developing a CURE course and is guiding the studies of two undergraduates, India and Ryan. Keep an eye out for a write up of their excellent work. Though we will miss him, we wish him the best of luck as he makes this exciting change and look forward to collaborating in the future. Congratulations Sheldon, we are proud of you!
